Back To School Bags

Vacation is over and in just a few days, students will go back to school and make themselves busy with home works.  I am always excited when it is nearing school opening because I get to see again my friends and I get to say bye-bye to some household chores.  Aside from the two reasons, I also can't wait to use my new school things--my bag particularly.  I am a big bag person although I don't bring with me a lot of stuff.  I just like the idea of bringing a large bag.  Speaking of bags, I have found some bags that are perfect for school.

I can't believe that after purging bags, I am now itching again on buying a new one.  My itching hands brought me to this straw shoulder bag.  I need to condition my mind that buying this bag meant lesser shopping for shoes and lesser sipping my favorite cappuccino from Starbucks.

Animal prints are back.  To make sure you don't end up looking tacky and OTT, wear only one animal printed item on your ensemble.  If you are wearing a simple dress, you can jazz it up a bit with something like this 3.1 Phillip Lim 'Quilted Leo' clutch.  It has a detachable strap for you to have two looks in one.  You can get this at Otte NY for $375.

Oscar de la Renta clutch purse

When I first saw this clutch by Oscar de la Renta, it reminded me of Giuseppe Zanotti's bowed pumps with crystals. 

If you will attend a formal party, this clutch and that pumps would be great to wear with something like this Bunch of Fun dress at Mod Cloth.

Purging Bags

I cleaned my closet yesterday and I was surprised to find out that I have more than twenty bags and I only get to use three.  I have got to do something about it because I am almost out of closet space.  Luckily, I remembered my office mate whose bag has given up on her the other day.  I don't know what stuffs she put inside her bag that made the handle snap, but anyway, I am going to give her one of my bags. 

Loewe anti 'it' handbag

These paper bag-like handbags are designed by Stuart Vevers for Loewe in a price that is worth a thousand times than a real paper bag.  The reason behind this really simple design is to bring back simplicity over bling and functionality of what bags are made to do.  For the price of $1,045 per piece, this bag is a serious competitor.

May I just ask you.  Would you buy this over other blinged bags with the same price?

Laptop Bags

This would be my fourth day of bringing my laptop in the office.  I hate it when I have to bring it because for one, it is heavy and it comes with a really unstylish bag.  I tried to fit it in my handbag but it just wouldn't do.  So, you all know where this leads... searching for the perfect laptop bag that is stylish.  I have found some really cute ones, take a look:

Marc Jacobs sequined evening bag

I will attend a wedding on the 22nd.  I am excited because my son will be the ring bearer, so as early as now, I am planning what to wear on that day.  I am thinking of wearing this cocktail dress to go with this shoe.  Do you think this bag by Marc Jacobs will go well with the whole ensemble???
